It is good to have this type of information on our beloved pets.

Sandy, you are right on the plug- ins. Sometimes food or medication can always make an affect on your pets. That was great that you were able to get the help you needed for Gizmo. Please give him hugs and kisses from all of us.
If you ever have any questions, don't hestitate to ask your vet or me(though I wouldn't tell you anything that a vet should have the answer to- like medicine)

Our Gizmo has Epilepsy-his started out with seizures & we had to have all the tests done to rule out toxins, poisons, liver or kidney failure. It took about 3 mons & about $400 it was bittersweet-no poisons, toxins, kidney or liver damage thank goodness. But poor baby was Epileptic & has been on medication ever since & will have to have the medication the rest of his life. He has to have special anethesia when he goes to the vet-it of course costs more, but it is worth it. He has been doing so well-we thank God everyday he is with us & doing good. It is so heart wrenching to see him have seizures it's something you never get over.
We are really careful what we feed him. Medications we give him and I am very careful what I clean with. I stopped using those plug-ins when a friend on Epileptic Cats told us it made her cat have seizures. I threw them away. I am not taking any chances with this boy.
He is doing so well. I am so thankful to our vet,our kids info at the website of Va Tech Veterinary site. It was very helpful in dealing with this.
